Our Maxi pond filter range provides a total solution for pond clarity at an affordable price. No matter how you want to install the filter internal or external the Maxi series delivers. Each unit comes complete with five (5) layers of media. The water from the pond is first filtered by a series of nylon brushes which removes particulate matter. Next the water is filtered through a natural coco mat which removes additional particulate matter and continues through two additional layers of foam filtration and finally exits after filtering through a bottom layer of bio balls which grow a bacterium that breaks down organic pollutants which are harmful to fish and can reduce pond clarity.
The real power of the Maxi filter range, however, lies in the modular design which lets the pond keeper install the filter both internally or externally. The units can also be fitted with one of our submersible UV units which can be mounted internally. Any pump can be used to drive the filter but our PFN series of pond pumps can be mounted directly on the units resulting in a compact and effective system that reduces your pond maintenance and installation time. The results are a clear pond and more time to enjoy your pond.
