Our Turbo Filter Kits combine a fully featured powerhead/circulating pump with a modular filter system that can be configured for a host of circulating and filtration jobs for the aquarium hobbyist both fresh and saltwater. The powerhead can be used for simple jobs such circulation, oxygenation and surface agitation. But when combined with any or all of the modular filters included in the kit, the unit will do the filtration job of an external canister filter at a fraction of the cost.
The Turbo Filter Kits come complete with sponge filter and large media canister with ZeoCarb filtration media included. The convenient hanging bracket and snap-together components make installation a breeze and the short installation time means you can use the unit as a backup or special use filter for clarifying the tank or removing a particular troublesome pollutant without wasting a day setting up.
