FPA Tech Tips:
Proper calcium levels result in maximum calcium uptake which maintains the proper metabolism in reef invertebrates. Especially important for stony corals and corraline algae. Regular testing of KH with the API test kit and Calcium with API Calcium test kit will insure an accurate measurement. KH should be maintained at 125-200 ppm (mg/L).
